Katie comes to the Institute of Photographic Studies from Germantown Hills, IL. She is a well-established portrait and wedding photographer in the area, and has been operating her own studio for the past nine years.

In addition to creating portraits and teaching piano, Katie frequently travels overseas, photographing the fingerprints of God's creation in countries such as Israel, Jordan, Egypt, Peru, Taiwan, New Zealand, Switzerland and Italy.

Katie has a heart for discipling and encouraging young people to seek after God and use their talents for His Kingdom. She has years of experience teaching Sunday school, participating in over 40 Children's Institutes, and coaching teen Bible Quiz teams. Working with IPS has been the continuation of that vision—to encourage and train young people who will impact the world as they proclaim His truth through powerful images.

Ever since opening my portrait studio in March of 1998.
